Conservatives in France
President Sarkhozy, a conservative, has brought in the US's Nobel winner, Joseph Steiglitz (sp.?) to help France develop new and better indicators of national well-being than GNP. What a shocking idea! He has also introduced proposal for a 7 euro (9 $) per ton tax on all carbon use in France. And his wife can sing very well.
