Magritte, a harlequin in helmet, almost … an exquisite corpse.
When the hour strikes
great expectations
the search for truth
the search for absolutes
clairvoyance from the flavor of tears.
A ready-made bouquet is tossed
“And 'blood will tell'” returned.

(they did meet. Credit to Magritte's titles, poetic perturbances of reality, not descriptions, can you find them?. He described WWI era army experience as living dressed in helmet and harlequin suit.)
